OWNERSHIP
This firm is wholly (100%) black owned as a sole proprietory, with a view to expanding into a partnership soon. The idea is to escalate present professional assistants to partners. At all material times, this firm will remain black owned.

BILLING STRUCTURE

Our firm commits itself to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and ethical conduct at all times. Our billing rate will be between R 1200,00 – R 1800,00 per hour depending on the seniority of the person working on the assignment and the amount billed will be rounded off to the nearest quarter of an hour. This amount excludes disbursements and the value added tax (“VAT”).

RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER LAW FIRMS

The firm therefore welcomes the establishment of a non-exclusive arrangement with other larger firms for the purpose of enhancing their expertise and service levels. This is prompted by a realistic realisation that we would need to rely on the collective wisdom of those who have access to the skills and know how, that for historical reasons do not repose in our arsenal. To this end, we now have an established Strategic Alliance with a large firms known as Bokwa Attorneys, Notaries and Conveyancers and Cliffe Dekker Inc. in order to facilitate transfer of skills to us, in areas where, for historical and other reasons, we do not posses same.

ASSISTANCE TO CANDIDATE ATTORNEYS / PARA-LEGALS 

Our firm is committed to providing assistance to candidate attorneys and other new entrants to the profession, as part of our social responsibility and is able to provide continous legal education and training to legal advisors and other groupings within or associated with historically disadvantaged persons.
